Suggest Treatment For Stomach Cramps And Diarrhea When Diagnosed With Lupus

Question: i have lupus,raynauds,fibromyalgfia and mild neuropathy.thats a load in itself but for the last few months I have been having stomach cramps and diarrhea. it has gotten to the point that I go in my sleep soiling myself and bed linens. I had a hernia repair in august where my stomach was in my chest,5 hour surgery. could there be a connection or what could be the problem

Hi, I am Dr Gopal Goel Orthopedic Surgeon.
In my opinion ,your abdominal cramps and diarrhea could be related to all the conditions you have , particularly lupus and neuropathy. You could be having ulcerative colitis.
I would recommend consultation with a rheumatologist and a gastro enterologist .I suggest take anti spasmodic medicines during abdominal cramps.
