Suggest Treatment For Stomach Ulcers

Question: I am 37 with a CEA level of 6.7um/l but my CA19-9 and CA 125 came back fine. I went to doc due to symptoms of a stomach ulcer. I am also a smoker.
Basically the CEA results don't look good but I don't know if they can reach these levels because I smoke and possibly have an ulcer. All results for ca125 and 19-9 are clear and im not sure which tests to expect or push for next. I need to know where this reading is coming from!! Losing my mind!!

Brief Answer:
by itself not a cause for worry
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I understand your concerns. But CEA 6.7 in smoker is not very high. It can't distinguish between malignant and benign stomach ulcer.
Did you have an endoscopy done? That is the best investigation for stomach ulcer. If I were you, I would not worry about this CEA report too much.
Hope this helps.
I will be available for further follow up queries, if any.

So this reading would not be uncommon for a smoker? Incidentally, cigarettes went straight into the bin after I heard his. I wonder may it be worth paying for the breast clinic to check all is well in that department to rule that out or would that be something my GP May not think necessary?
Kind regards
Kind regards
Brief Answer:
yes, not uncommon
Detailed Answer:
It's good that you have quit smoking.
I would not recommend mammogram or breast ultrasound just based on this CEA report in a 37 yr old lady.
