It looks like subconjunctival hemorrhage.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to Health care magic.
I am Dr. Dadapeer K, an ophthalmologist and I answer health problems related to eye.
I reviewed your history.
From the history it looks like subconjunctival hemorrhage.
Yes a classical subconjunctival hemorrhage is painless condition. However if it has followed minor injury or infection like conjunctivitis soreness can be present.
If you do not have symptoms of dimunition of vision, watering, discharge, photophobia.... then no need to worry. If you have any of these symptoms you need to consult your doctor.
You can use antibiotic eye drops like ciprofloxacin if there is soreness. Other than this no treatment is required. Subconjunctival hemorrhage will resolve over 1-2 weeks slowly.
Advil being a non steroidal antiinflammatory drug can increase the hemorrhage by decreasing clotting. Hence it is better to avoid it if you do not have pain.
If you can send a photo of the affected eye I will confirm the diagnosis for you.
Hope the information is helpful to you.
Thank you.
With regards
