Suggest Treatment For Sudden Onset Of Vibrations In Head, Exhaustion And Hearing Of Buzzing Noises

Question: Hello, I was diagnosed with epilepsy at the age of 16 and had gran mal seizures til 22. Slowly they started decreasing with meds and I havent had a seizure since. I am now 29. My symptoms came again all of a sudden that I feel a vibration in my head, exhaustion and like im out of my body. I can even hear a buzzing noise. And all of a sudden it goes away? But no seizure... It is sometimes followed by a bad head ache. What could this be?
Brief Answer:
Possible Aura.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I understand your concern.
Your symptoms are suggestive of Aura(Premonitory symptoms) for an impending seizures.
So do not ignore them.
I advise you to get an EEG/Electroencephalography preferably during the symptoms to document the seizure activity in the brain if any.
Consultation with an expert Neurologist at the earliest for resumption of Anti seizure treatment, will be helpful.
Post your further queries if any,
Thank you.

Could my EEG come back normal if i'm not having the symptoms? How to know when they will come and how to document?
Brief Answer:
EEG during symptoms is important but not mandate.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Yes EEG can be normal in the absence of symptoms.
But this is not always the rule.
You can get an EEG instantly when you feel the vibration in your head or buzzing in your ear or while having headache etc.
This form of EEG can help to document the underlying seizure activity better .
But once again its as per your convenience.
If you can reach the diagnostic center in time while you are symptomatic, you can get this EEG.
Thank you.
