Question: I have COPD , now a cold , hot and cold sweats, can not sleep very long. should I go to the emergency room?

Yes, you should go to emergency and get done blood report

Detailed Answer:

I can understand your concern.
Cold and hot sweats can be due to infection.
So better to get done blood report like complete blood count (CBC) to rule out infection.
If infection is there then you may need antibiotic drug.
