Suggest Treatment For Swelling And Pain In The Calf Area
Question: My right leg from the knee down is very swollen pain in my calf. This came on suddenly

It could one of a few things.
It could be Deep vein thrombosis most likely or Lymphedema.
Is there any redness or any fever?
Please get a D-dimer done(Blood test) and a Color Doppler study of venous system of the affected limb. This is like an Ultrasound.
This will confirm what you have.
If it is DVT then you will require to be managed with Heparin injections, limb elevation, bed rest and Compression stockings. But you need to see a Doctor who can prescribe these investigations and get them done at the earliest.
There is no need to panic or worry
Whatever it is, is treatable and I will guide you through.
