A month ago a terrible accident happened I cut one off my fingers off, and the others , broken and a deep flesh wound, it took them 20h00 to get me a bed in a hospital, but give antibiotics and was the wounds, before the long waiting period, for a bed and a theatre. Was only on Panadol Forte codeine every 6h00. 12 h00 after the op. they sent me home, with antibiotics and Panadol, then 5 days later my right leg start selling over my knee area, and in my calf muscle , count walk on it for a week, go the hospt again, they treat me with blood thinners, that I must used myself to inject. Go back 4 days later with ultra sound in my legs , the swelling was in my ankle to now, they don't know, no blood clot, ........ was wondering if it was the trama........getting better everyday now, but it was a really concern for me , still have a stiff knee, but swelling is better, I bough a thermo skin to lock the lower leg with my knee, and it help a lot, but still everyone was making out that it was nothing and it was not the case for me.......
Getting better day by day is a good sign

Hello
Thanks for posting
I have gone through your query and understand your concern. To me, Knee dislocation as a cause of your suffering is highly unlikely. As the care given in the O.T. and ward by trained health worker.Above all it's a very painful condition with severe deformity at knee.
To help you better please tell me-
1. Do you have chronic disease like diabetes?
2. Do you smoke or take alcohol?
My suggestion for your stiff knee and swollen ankle are-
1. Regular knee and ankle exercises along with hot water fomentation.
2. avoid sitting/standing for long period (not more than 25-30 minutes), while sitting keel legs at height.
3. The drugs trypsin/chymotrypsin also helps in reducing the swelling.
Hope this helps.
Take care
I huge regular medication, Lipex 40 mg- Vascardol Diltizem 240mg for years with no side affects so far - for angina, and Cholesterol.
The drugs that will help for swelling, do I need a prescription for it?
Wishing you good health

It's good to see you.
I have gone through your reply and happy to know that you do not have chronic disease. The drugs trypsin/chymotrypsin is prescription only drugs and you may contact your treating doctor.
Hope this suffices.
