Suggest Treatment For Swelling In Right Upper Eyelid

Question: Hello Doctor,

Suddenly from yesterday morning I see my right eyelid has swollen - not sure may be due to cold or something.

I have not taken any medicine - only have washed my eye with hot and cold water. Kindly suggest to heal.

suddensweling of righteye lid.

Detailed Answer:

It appears your upper eye lid right side is swollen. it can be sty chalazion, or forgeinbody.Requires local examination to identify the cause.Can take tab combiflam twice daily after food. Clean the eye lid with sterile swab.Applyneosporine eye ointment at bed time.If it is diagnosed as sty then epilation has to be done. If chalazion then minor surgery of incision and scooping is to be done.forgein body if detected is to be removed.till you consult doctor, can apply neosporine eye ointment, tab combiflam,levocetrizine 5mg and warmcompression can be given.Sudden onset indicate more towards forgein body and allergy.
