No fever. Pain has decreased from before surgery. I'm on no medications now. My throat is still scratchy from having tonsillectomy. No previous weight loss. Gland was bigger before surgery. I had MRI in XXXXXXX because of left side neck pain and swollen gland. MRI came back ok.

hello again.
This is good news and most probably not something serious.
I would advise ibuprofen or Tylenol for the pain and swelling that you are experiencing.
A physical exam to rule out an infection or abscess etc is required
the following investigations may be done in consultation with your doctor
Rapid antigen detection tests
throat culture
monospot test
cbc , esr may also be done
based on which antibiotics may be started or drainage done if there is a localized abscess.
let me know if you have any query
thanks

Thank you. I've been worried it may be something serious. But it may take a while for my gland to heal after surgery. I'm hoping that's all it is. This all started may of this year when I had strep throat. My gland has been swollen since then.
