Suggest Treatment For Swollen Lymph Nodes In Neck And Abdominal Area

It is always the histopathology diagnosis that matters. Go for it.
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
To recapitulate: Female/60 - treated thyroid cancer 1979 - fibromyalgia 1995 - noted the medications - lumps in neck - belly - lower back - one drained a year ago in groin -
Since the lymph nodes have fixed area like neck, axillae, groin, these are not present on the belly or back.
Hence I would advise you the following:
The one on the belly and back may be lipoma, sebaceous cysts or so.
To get a clinical evaluation and examination, preferably by a General Surgeon.
Ultrasound and FNAC or still better to get them excised for the following reasons:
- You get rid of the lumps which are not the normal parts of the body.
- You get a confirmed diagnosis when the sample is sent for histopathology examination.
The ones on the neck can be diagnosed by ultrasound and FNAC- fine needle aspiration cytology and if FNAC is not conclusive then request for excision biopsy in view of history of thyroid cancer, although long away in 1979.
Sarcodome?/ Sarcoidosis/malignancy: This is always a histo-pathological diagnosis and hence no comments as biopsy is a must t get the correct diagnosis, which is of utmost importance since you know what it is like having something and not having the correct diagnosis can lead to.
I hope this answer helps you an early diagnosis and most proper treatment.
