Suggest Treatment For Symptoms Of IBS
I often get these sharp pains in my shoulder or arms or face that feel like a pin poke. Only in one of a few spots at a time. Along with this I also experience this strange breathing sensation where my lips feel kind of numb and the air feels strange. I can not explain it very well. This is always followed up by an urge to urinate and/or bowel movement. I have been experiencing this for months countless times and it is always in the same order. I also have a dull pain near my tail bone however I work sitting daily so that may be unrelated to the rest of this.
I am curious if these symptoms are consistent with gerd and ibs or should I be worried about something else or more serious?
Supportive care
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking
I read your question and i understand your concern. History of acid reflux, generalised abdomen pains radiating to different places in the body specifically shoulder blades, numbness periorally and urge to urinate and defecate with normal work up is very typical of irritable bowel syndrome and acid reflux .
Treatment is mostly supportive, modifying diet and lifestyle is first step. Lose weight, eat small frequent meals, avoid triggers like dairy products, spicy foods, processed canned foods, alcohol, beverages, caffeine , tea, chocolates etc. Use more fibers and fluids. Add yogurt and peppermint with it as supplement. Use amitriptyline it helps irritable bowel symptoms very much . Chew a sugar feee bubble gum after meals. Delay lying down after meals. Keep BMI less than 25. Nutshell, every thing is alright and you need is diet lifestyle adjustments. It will also help lower your blood pressure. Use DASH diet for that as well.
I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.
