Suggest Treatment For Symptoms Of Acid Reflux
Question: Hello,
My 4-year-old son keeps randomly throwing up, around every third day and mostly in the mornings. Normally it's once a day, but the last few times its been twice within a day. Also, I noticed that his left nostril has been really backed up with boogers, it's been more of a greenish clear, but it looked like blood yesterday as if he got a bloody nose, which he did not. Before throwing up he complains of his stomach hurting and within 5 minutes he's throwing up. He does seem fine after and will eat, drink and run around like 4-year-olds do, but gets pretty lethargic right before. Could this all be caused from his senses?

Brief Answer:
Throwing up
Detailed Answer:
Hello. I just read through your question.
The symptoms You describe are consistent with reflux. His abdominal pain is likely due to a bit of stomach acid refluxing into his esophagus. Then the throwing up is the more obvious result of the reflux. The nasal symptoms can also be explained by this as it is very common for patient with reflux to have either nasal congestion or nosebleeds.
This can be treated with dietary modifications and medication. I recommend consulting with your doctor so the appropriate treatment plan can be determined and implemented.
