Brief Answer:
it is alteration in experience to external world

Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for asking a follow up

Derealisation is alteration in experience to external world. Though the symptoms you have mentioned are not sufficient to make diagnosis of derealisation but such presentation can also occur.

Most probable reason for such symptoms is heightened anxiety and individual may feel that brain is not there. Altered perception may occur. Other possibility is some type of seizure. In Absence or Petit Mal Seizures sudden abnormal neurological symptoms may occur that last for seconds to minutes. But such type of seizures are seen commonly in children and also your EEG came normal, so we can rule out these seizures. Your other investigations also came normal so possibility of any neurological reason is very low.

Then we are left with anxiety as reason for your symptoms. I would advise you to visit a psychiatrist for evaluation of your symptoms and for treatment.

Thanks, hope this helps you. Don't hesitate to ask again for more follow up questions.

Brief Answer:
Old healed granuloma or scar or trauma may result in calcification

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking again

The calcification can be a normal incidental finding. Old minor trauma on head may be the reason for calcification. Old healed granuloma in brain may develop calcification after years. As per my opinion no need to worry about that. Just get it throughly investigated to remove any doubt or anxiety about that. Rest be assured most likely the clinical symptoms you have mentioned are due to anxiety only.

Thanks, hope this helps you.
Wish you a good health, take care.

Thank you for your answers. There is a lot of stress in running a business and dealing with the Canadian Government in our kind of business. (cheese manufacturing) and your right anxiety is there also. This sense of feeling doesn't happen very often but since my issue two years ago I pay more attention to what happens now. I will start a journal to keep tabs on how often this happens, going forward.

Thanks again XXXXXXX
