
Suggest Treatment For Tender Spots On The Thigh When Diagnosed With Varicose Veins

Question: I have varicose veins, at one time i had an injury to the veins on my right thigh, then developed phleibitis. Yesterday I had a tender spot on my left thigh at the varicose vein, today the tenderness has moved further up the thigh about 3 inches, just this evening it has very pale pink color and is tender to touch.

These happen frequently to superficial varicose veins and is not dangerous. We usually recommend applying heat and taking aspirin. This will resolve on its own.
