Brief Answer: need more meds and work up Detailed Answer: hi, it seems you have been taking soflax and movicol which is the same medication plus the suppositories. You may need more medications, there are multiple different types of laxatives that work in a different manner. Some of them include lactulose, dulcolax, sennokot, linaclotide, lubiprostone, etc. However if the constipation is so severe that the medications you are taking are not enough for you to move your bowels, more information may be required, including thyroid tests (hormonal imbalance can cause constipation), a colonoscopy if not done or an xray test (called "sitz marker study") to check if the problem is near the anus, or if its just that you have slow motion bowels and the problem is the entire colon. In the meantime drink plenty of water with meals, add prunes to your meals, continue your laxatives, and visit a gastroenterologist for further evaluation. Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.
