Question: I will occasionally get headaches that are sharp, painful and throbbing. They occur right behind my right eye and sometimes I feel like I may vomit. I tend to get these every few weeks. I have been getting them for several years.

Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concern.
The headache seems to be migraine.
You should follow preventive steps as advised below.
Take timely breakfast and lunch.
Avoid fasting, excessive tea or coffee or chocolates.
Avoid stress and sleep disturbances.
If the number of headache episodes are more than 10 times in a month then you can take prophylaxis for migraine. The drugs for prophylaxis are flunarizine, topiramate, divalproate, Amitriptyline.
Pain killers like aceclofenac or diclofenac or naproxen can be taken when required.
