Suggest Treatment For Tinnitus And Hearing Difficulty

Question: Response required from Ent doctor
Suddenly while wake up in morning I got some beep sound in my left ear when I stand in front of tV and outside whoever speak It reflect as beep sound or press horn sound it reflect with beep sound with voice then I went to Ent long back I got the some different ear problems done pure tone that time he told mild issue with left ear and it's weak... Now again he repeat the test .my beep sound issue stopped automatically... I went with report he said same weakness in left ear so he prescribe medicine as pirapil 1200 when I search about that medicine it's mention as its used for alzemer desease for elder people but I don't have this issue I want to know why he prescribe pirapil 1200 for ear nerve weakness as he said you can take it for 90 day to stop further hearing loss no issue in taking this so I want to know about it and I took first dose feel afraid my muscle got relaxed and soft even my butock muscle got soft I have an another issue is my muscle is over relaxed automatic in different situation so I am taking neurobion forte for b12 Def now it's came as 420 value and Tay for vitamin d3 Defficiency value is 33 along megnixium dioxide for muscle strength to reduce muscle over relaxed... I want to know pirapil is correct medicine or not? Worry about may impact my organs kidney or liver

Hi, thanks for your query. As per your history it suggests that you might be having a inner ear nerve weakness. The sound u are experiencing is called tinnitus. It is one of the symptoms of inner ear disease. As per your audiometry report, it is Confirmed that you have mild to moderate high frequency hearing loss. It won't affect your day to day living but cause tinnitus. If it worsens then u may need a hearing aid with tinnitus maasker. Treatment aspect, doctor has given u pirapil which is neuro vasodilator. It helps to increase the micro vascular blood supply to the hearing nerve. This may prevent further deterioration of the weakness. This tablet is used in other neurological condition also. Not only alzeihmers but other neurological disease also it is prescribed.Continue neurobion forte tablet. U may add tablets containing ginkobiloba extract to improve your tinnitus. hi After had pirapil I feel drowsy and muscle is over relaxed something like all muscle area is loose mainly neck it's something loose I too have muscle issue if sometime muscle will be over relaxed neck under buttock hand joints will be cushion less something like tone loss and excess release my neuro doctor prescribed medication I will upload it is the same composite of pirapil or different can I take that medicine with pirapil any interaction will happen

afternoon
megnisum oxide 400 my for muscle strength

night
tayo ( vitamin d3 1000 k with calcium 500mg)
pirapil 1200 took first dose
myvquestion is
pirapil 1200 is hight dose and feel overrelaxed
so can I take addition two tablet as proscription neuro doctor any interaction with the above medicine

hi you dint answer my exact 4. question
1. I asked about pirapil 1200 is higher dose or normal dose why I am getting muscle over relaxed..?
2. ginkobiloba is herbal or allopatic it will be available without proscription I don't have tinnitus now just feel vertigo some time mild I'f I turn left. is it will resolve with ginko.?
3. my throat muscle and neck muscles is week if I take magnesium with vitamin d3 I feel better but I don't have magnesium deficiency seem it's resolve my tinnitus as well muscle weakness in throat and neck.... I don't have thiroid problem... ?
4. is pirapil is same use of my neuro doctor prescribed or it's differ? I have attached the prisciption

Hi, thanks for your follow up query.
1. Pirapil dose is 800 mg to 1200 mg per day. Dosage depends on per kg body weight. U can reduce the dose depending on doctors advice.
2. Ginkobiloba is herbal plant extract. Yes it is available without prescription. But if u don't have tinnitus, don't take it. It won't help your vertigo.
3. U can continue with magnesium supplements. They improve the muscle tone , hence might be helpful in some patients of tinnitus . I don't have experience in using magnesium supplements. It is usually given by neurologist. In ent we don't prescribe.
4. Yes pirapil is same which is prescribed by neurologist . Hope my answers have helped you. Thanks.
