Suggest Treatment For Tongue Swelling And White Lines On Inside Of The Cheeks
Seems to be linea XXXXXXX not harmful, tongue swelling can be allergy related
Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome to HEALTH CARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain and the images attached the white lines on the inner cheeks seems to be LINEA XXXXXXX that is a thickened mucosa in that area..
It occurs due to Frictional action inside mouth and as a protective phenomena the mucosa gets thickened and there is excess keratin formation leading to a white line..
You need not to worry as it is harmless and does not cause any discomfort..
Second part of your question that is swollen tongue..
The most common cause for it can be allergic reaction to any food or medicine..
I would like to know a few more questions before I can proceed further for treatment..
1.Is the swelling happened for first time?
2.Do you have any known allergies?
3.Are you on any medication or do have have
medical problems?
4.Did you take any medicine for the swelling?
Kindly revert back soon..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.

Hi..
Welcome Again..
Thanks for the reply..
As per the response it seems to be mild allergic reaction to any food or medicine..
Nothing to worry because as of now there seems to be nothing serious..
I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles and suck ice pops..
In case if the swelling does not get better in a week time, you should consult with you lur treating physician to get a physical evaluation .
In case of any anti allergic medication is needed you will be advised accordingly..
You should not take any Medication on your own as you are already on a number of medicines..
As of now you do not seems to be needing any medicine..
In case if there is no improvement or condition worsen consult your physician..
Any further questions are welcome..
