Suggest Treatment For Torn Cartilages And Knee Pain

Question: I had knee surgery to repair torn cartlidge a month ago. I work with my leg everyday doing the exercises the physical therapist gave me. But I still hav a hard time bending it all the, it feels stiff and my whole leg just feels achey, sometimes with knee pain. my other leg is getting kinda sore for compensating for my bad leg. I was just wondering if this is normal, and how long will it take to fully heal ? Or if this is signs that I have a problem.
Brief Answer:
It's normal after torn cartilage repair surgery...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.
It is normal to have pain and difficulty in moving your knee after torn cartilage repair surgery. Usually it will need 6 weeks to get back to your normal daily activities.
However, you'll need a few more months for the pain to subside. Continue taking oral and local pain killers to ease the pain together with physiotherapy.
Hope it was of help! Let me know if I can be of further help!
