Suggest Treatment For Tumor In The Armpit
Not a tumor. Not likely to be a lymph node but probably inflammation!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about this lump that you have reported in your armpit. It is not cancer and would not likely be a lymph nodes as they are deep seated. This is more suggestive of a skin induration that may progress to an abscess or regress. If you are not in pains, I will suggest that you put an eye on it. If you are in pains, then tae tylenol for relief.
In all, this is not a tumor and also not a lymph node. Probably and inflamed skin tissue and would resolve spontaneously. If there is any pain, take tylenol for relief and observe, Report any further concerns to me.
I hope this addresses your query fully. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
For how long has this been?
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
It would be difficult to tell exactly what you feel as there are several structures. Also, even if you felt a lymph node, the size and texture of it is what makes it to be of significance or not. These I cannot assess away from you.
My advice is, is this is recent observation, monitor and only seek further medical attention is this poses any further concerns or grows bigger.
Let me know if this is something you would want to try out!
Not even a 1% chance to be cancer at this time!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
This has no chance of ever being cancer. You are concerned and that is the main reason why. There is no primary cancer in the armpit. Most cancer in the armpit spreads from somewhere else and as such I would have expected information that raises the suspicion of a possible cancer on some area close to the armpit.
Be relaxed and calm. Monitor this only and seek no further medical attention at this time unless, something real troubling comes up.
I wish you well.
