Suggest Treatment For Tumor Like Growth On Testicle
Question: Hi
I asked a question few days ago about removing the testicle due to suspect of testicle cancer as shown in the xrays done. I have two questions before proceeding with the operations please and your guidance:
1- One doctor is suggesting that during the operation he will open up and take a sample of biopsy during the operation to check the tumor on the testicle and then based on the outcome he will decide to remove or not. Based he suspects it definitely needs to be removed
2- another doctor is suggesting that he will completely remove the testiscle as it looks quite suspicious 99% as per the reports and then insert a silicone testicle to replace that for the appearance later.
Questions is what is the recommended and best practice when it comes to testicle cancer surgery? and what about the silicone testicle replacement? Is this safe and does it expire? Or do you recommend i just remove the testicle and not replace.
Looking forward to you response to decide on a way forward, thanks
