Suggest Treatment For Upper Respiratory Infection

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,welcome to HCM forum.
The injections given include an antibiotic and a steroid.
Among these, the antibiotic injection(rochepin/ceftriaxone) can sometimes cause significant pain at the injection site, especially when given intramuscular.
As she has no fever/skin redness/swelling,injection site infection as the cause of pain is unlikely.
And,since the pain is coming down for last couple of days, there is nothing wrong in waiting for spontaneous resolution. You can advise local ice pack application. If needed, also use simple analgesics like Acetaminophen 500mg or ibuprofen 400mg thrice daily after food for 3 days(if she is not allergic).
If the pain fails to resolve in 3 days or increases, avoid further delay in seeking medical attention.
Hope I have answered your query.
Wishing for a faster cure.
Thank you.
