Impotence & incontinence of urine is complication of Radical Prostatectomy
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for feedback .
The incontinence of urine and impotence are known complication of Radical Prostatectomy and results from inevitable injury to the nerves caused during dissection of prostate . However in majority of cases it gradually recovers within a year or two .
As regards frequent bowel movements, it is due to Radiotherapy.
Anti-diarrheal agents (Lomotil, Immodium) can be used to help with loose bowel movements. Increasing fiber intake through whole grains, fruits and vegetables, or fiber supplements can also help.
Thanks and Regards.

Incontinence is very uncomfortable and big problem. It has been twelve years since I had the surgery. Keegal exercise is not helpful. Would there be any medical treatment that may cure or minimize incontinence?
I am taking pumpkin seed oil. According to WebMed website it is supposed to help. However it did not help.
Provent is advertised to prevent incontinence due to enlarged prostate. I had prostate surgery so I assume it is not relevant to my condition. I appreciate if you can come up with a solution.
Thanks and Regards

Hello
Thanks for follow up .
It is irreversible damage to urethral sphincter and nerves that is causing incontinence .
Unfortunately there is no role for any medication or herbal preparation that can help to regain control .
Using condom drain is the only solution .
