Suggest Treatment For Vaginal Candidiasis
Question: hi basically I went to the sexual health clinic yesterday but they said there is nothing they can do and I need to go to a gum clinic but I've been having these tiny paper cuts appear on my vagina and burning sensation after sex this is making it impossible to have sex with my partner and has worried me so much that I can't even eat! I have no clue what this could be ive also been worried because I have a thick white discharge which I have had previously but can't remember if it's more than usual but it's not uncomfortable until I take part in activity what could this be?

These paper cuts over vaginal introitus with thick vaginal discharge indicates vaginal cadidiasis infection and needs to be treated with both oral and local antifungals. You need to apply CLOTRIMAZOLE 1% cream locally thrice a day for next 7 days and take TAB fluconazole 300mg once a week for 2 weeks. You may get it prescribed by your PCP. Also important would be to avoid sex for next one week till treatment is completed.
