Suggest Treatment For Varicose Vein At The Base Of Scrotum

default
Posted on Tue, 31 May 2016
Question: So, I suspect I have a varicose vein or whatever, that swells and feels swollen and when I stand it gets worse and feels like someone is pulling down on my underside. It's not painful, just annoying. feels like a hemorrhoid, but not in or around the rectum. It seems to run from the base of my scrotum to my inner thy. So my question, what is it and what kind of physician do I see to remediate this annoying " pain in the ass" issue. Thank you

Brief Answer:
Pelvic Venous Insufficiency with Perineal Varicosity / Under Evaluation

Detailed Answer:
Brief Ans-Pelvic Venous Insufficiency (PVI) with Perineal Varicosity / Under Evaluation

Hi Dear,Thanks for the query to HCM.
Read and Reviewed the facts of your query in context to your health concerns.

You seem to suffer from extensive PVI-Pelvic Venous Insufficiency with Perineal Varicosity draining to Saphenofemoral Veins.

This has connection with your Hemorrhoid Surgery. The Varicosity in the Rectal Veins has communications with the Perineal Varicosity with connection through internal pudendal and external pudendal Venous connections.
I would suggest you to Consult Vascular Surgeon-dealing in Pelvic Venous Insufficiency.
The pain and discomfort on standing-"with pain in ass problem"- is related to the Varicosity of the Pelvic Venous System Involving Pelvic Venous System.

Color Doppler and Phlebography study with Contrast studies would give the incompetent Pelvic veins- of internal pudendal veins , which need to be treated by EVLT(Endo Venous Laser Therapy) with foam balls and foam spring coils to block the incompetent draining veins by foam sclerotherapy, which leads to Perineal-Varicosity.

Hope this reply would help you to discuss the right kind of treatment with Vascular Surgeons in special Centers Dealing with Pelvic Venous Insufficiency.

Welcome for any further query in this regard.
