Suggest Treatment For Vasovagal Syncope
Question: I was diagnosed 12 years ago and 2 weeks ago with vasovagal or neurcardiogenic syncopacy. I have been having episodes since I was 12. They went away, came back, went away and came back again this February when I was admitted to a cardiac ward for three days with extreme low blood pressure, pvcs and pacs, and slow heart rate that was dropping to 27 beats a minute when I was sleeping. They switched my medicine and I was still blacking out until even today when I almost blacked out 5 times on another medicine. Here's the thing about a week before my menstruation I feel bad. Sometimes blood pressure goes to 140 to 180 over something. I can barely breathe. I have syncopacy episodes. Blood pressure drops obviously. I skipped an entire period in February when I was due for my menstruation during my stay at hospital. Had cramps but nothing else. I have seen so many specialist. Endrocrinologist, neurologist, cardiologist, and electrophsiologist. Who do I go see that will listen to this relation that I see between my hormones and these episodes. This is tiring, depressing and unknowing. Also getting expensive!!
