Question: Hi, I started with a hoarse voice and have had no real cold systems so to speak of, but now my chest is tight and it hurts to take deep breathes in. I feel better good over all but just hard to breathe in.

Brief Answer:
If get worse do some tests as follows

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to HealthcareMagic,

I can understand your concern,

As per your history, I think that this might be a viral infection.

If you were my patient, if this pain persists I would recommend you to do some tests as follows;

Hemogram
CRP
Chest X-Ray

These tests are for evaluating if a bacterial condition is superimposed in the viral one.

If the results come positive then you should take antibiotics for some days orally., like Clarithromycin.

Please discuss with your doctor regarding this.

Take care and feel free to ask me again
