Question: Hello and thank you. I am 69 and have been diagnosed with rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis. I take 40mg of methotrexate each week. I also take 50mcg of levothyroxin and 25 mpg of liothyroxin, and folic acid. Lately I am having bouts where I cannot focus my eyes and have to sit, close my eyes and wait it out. I also am having heart palpitations, usually at night when lying down and these bouts last up to 2 hrs. In last July I had symptoms that seemed like a stroke. Vomiting and complete loss of awareness for many hrs. I was taken to the ER and an MRI did not indicate a stroke. No real diagnosis was ever made and I have no recollection of the incident. Do you have any suggestions on what may be happening? I have considered epilepsy? MS?

I also am having balance problems, lowback pain.
