Suggest Treatment For Vomiting, Nausea, And Watery Stools
need assessment
Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic
Persistent nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain and diarrhea for this period of time needs to be assessed by a doctor.
When the symptoms occur for a short period of time ( 1 to 2 weeks) , the most common cause is an acute infection of the stomach and intestines that would work itself out of the system.
With symptoms for a month then other causes, including other types of infections would need to be considered.
The dark and foul smelling stools can be related to blood in the stool, this is called melena stool.
Possible causes: (1)parasitic or other infection
(2)inflammatory bowel disease eg crohns disease or ulcerative colitis
(3)irritable bowel syndrome
(4)thyroid disease can also cause persistent diarrhea but would not cause the blood seen
(5)mass in the GI tract eg cancer
(6)diverticular disease
It would be best to see your doctor for assessment which would include physical examination , stool sample to the lab. You may also need imaging such as a barium enema or colonoscopy.
I hope this helps, feel free ask any other questions
