Suggest Treatment For Watery Loose Stool In A Child

Start Racecadotril granules if stools are not showing pus, mucous or blood
Detailed Answer:
Hi Sharat, Welcome to HCM..
I understand your concerns but don't worry. I would recommend you to get your little one's poop tested (routine and microscopy). This will give an idea about the definitive management required.
You may upload the report for my reference.
Kindly mention about the frequency of poops/day and and associated symptoms such as vomiting and fever.
At present continue with the treatment as advised by your pediatrician. If the reports shows no pus cells, mucous and blood then start her on Racecadotril granules till the stools improve. This will help in early recovery. Ensure good hydration by ORS and regular feeds.
Most cases improve in 7-10 days by the above management.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for uploading the current status and report of your child. It is suggestive of mild infection. The medicines as suggested by your pediatrician are enough for the time being. Ensure that you complete 14 days of zinconia (5 ml once daily). The frequency will gradually improve over a period of 1-2 weeks. No need for racecadotril at present. Avoid refined sugars, chocolates, juices and beverages for the time being.
Hopefully it will be of help. I would be happy to help you in any further questions.
Take care
