Question : yesterday I had diarrhoea, chills, some sneezing, no fever, belching. Motillium worked, but today, though I have no diarrhoea, I am very weak, feel the lining of my stomach is very tender, and still feel chilled. I am 84.

I am sorry for the health situation you are going through.

From what you are describing, it seems that you are having viral infection complicated with stomach flu.

The weakness you are feeling is due to viral infection you're experiencing and loss of fluids due to diarrhea.

I advise to:
- keep well hydrated (drink water, soups, yogurt, juice, tea)
- take tasectan or pepto bismuth if diarrhea will persist
- take probiotics to stabilize intestinal flora
- have more rest
- take vit C supplements

If no improvement, should see your doctor as prescription drugs might be necessary to use.
