Brief Answer:
Burr hole evacuation of cyst is a good possibility.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Most arachnoid cysts don't need treatment.

If it is confirmed by clinical examination and MRI findings that the cyst is responsible for the symptoms, then treatment with the aim of cyst contents evacuation is indicated.

There are several techniques that are used to treat arachnoid cysts including open surgery, endoscopy, cystoperitoneal drainage, burr hole evacuation.

I think burr hole evacuation is a good possibility because it is a minimally invasive procedure and can be repeated if recurrence occurs.

So, if the arachnoid cyst is causing your symptoms, it should be treated.

Hope this helps.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care.
