
Suggest Treatment For Weight Loss And Pain Under The Left Rib

Question: 25kg weight loss ,pain under left rib across upper abdomen to right,high wbc,mri,CT,colonoscopy ,endoscomy. all clear,gastrolost specialist doesn't know.

Yes weight loss unintentional,Thyroid tested. stools are narrow or very loose. I am on laxsol, lactulose,metamide,colgout,metformin,magnesium,chromium and levothyroxine .Note: I don't have gout or diabetes. Have had symptoms for over 1year now. scans and x-rays clear.

You are on levothyroxine. Test the thyroid function again and see whether the dose is appropriate. Increased dose can cause weight loss.
Metformin which you are taking can also cause weight loss. You have not mentioned why you are taking all these medications.
Since you are having loose stools also, malabsorption syndrome should be ruled out with a small bowel biopsy.
Lactulose you are taking can worsen loose stools.
You need to discuss with your doctor about the medications you are taking as I feel some of them are not required.
