Suggest Treatment For White Head Right Above Upper Lip
Question: I have a white head pimple right above my upper lip. I feel that it was probably caused by a change in cleansing pattern during the 6 days I went out of town. I also forgot my hormones during this time.
I've been wiping it with a retinine a pad and then applying a produce called Adult Acnomel. It's main ingredient is resorcinol 2% and sulfur 8%. I can also use this as a coverup while working as a dental hygienist.
I've done hot water compresses and am really tempted to stick a sterile pin in and try to pop it. Any suggestions?

Brief Answer:
A photo of white headed pimple is required for a more specific opinion...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I understand your concerns.
1. You are saying to have a white head pimple right above your upper lip. Can you please send a photo of the pimple, so I can evaluate myself?
2. From what you are describing, the white head pimple might be a possible skin infection due to:
- exposing to cleansing chemicals (as you were out of town)
- herpes labialis (it is common to get flu when changing town)
Try not to force it popping out. Apply warm compresses locally only, do not use a pin to pop it.
Looking forward to have the requested photo in for a more specific advice!
