Suggest Treatment For Withdrawal Symptoms Of Clomipramine
Question: How do I know if I am having withdrawal or if the medication was helping me? I'm tapering off of clomipramine for ocd because I don't think it is helping me but how can I tell if it was helping me or if I experience withdrawal?

The withdrawal symptoms of clomipramine are limited for initial one week and mat=y be two weeks. If you are experiencing symptoms during first two weeks than probably it is withdrawal symptoms. In addition the withdrawal symptoms of clomipramine include nervousness, restlessness, bad dreams, tremor, sweating among others which are uncommon OCD symptoms.
In regard to OCD symptoms if the drug was helping you you will not those symptoms immediately after discontinuation. It will take atlas two to four weeks to have relapse of OCD symptoms.
I mean to say that in addition to chronology of experience the symptoms itself during discontinuation can tell you that you are experiencing withdrawal symptoms or OCD symptoms.
