Suggest Treatment For Withdrawal Symptoms Of Norco
It can only be used at my pharmacy and the pharmacist all know me and know I would never cheat. I regard this as abandonment by my doctor. I have about ten left for the entire month of May. What symptoms can I expect? I am 76
Gradual tapering
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
I understand your concern. I am sorry about this, but as you may know, Norco is a highly addictive drug and as such, doctors are legally bound to be very cautious.
You did not mention the dose you take daily, however, the ten pills you have left should be enough for the tapering off plan I am about to suggest.
Norco withdrawal symptoms reach their peak at 72 hours, so I suggest you reduce your daily dosage by half a pill every three days.
If you are on a tablet a day you should be fine with this plan, if you take more than that, it is going to be harder. However, Valium can smooth the edges of withdrawal symptoms so this should make the process easier.
This is just a suggestion, and my advice does not replace your doctor's judgement. Your doctor knows best your medical history, so I suggest you talk to them about this plan before starting anything.
I hope this helps.
I'd be glad to answer any further questions you might have.
Wishing you good health and all the best.
Trouble with sleep is related to withdrawal
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
I understand your concern. Your sleep problems are most certainly related to the tapering off of Norco. This is a very common side effect of withdrawal for all opiates and will usually persist for up to 30 days after taking the last dose of the opiate (in this case Norco). Taking valium and estabilishing a certain bedtime routine that works best for you is a suggestion to help you get as much sleep as possible.
Given your medical history, I recommend Curcumin, the active ingredient of Turmeric, which is a natural pain relief, without side effects. It can be found in healthy food stores or ordered on XXXXXXX
I hope this helps.
