Additionally, there should be regular physical exercise for over 30 min a day.

I advise consumption of oats twice daily.

Fruits particularly apple and Pomegranate are good for rapid weight gain.

Foods like Chapati and Paratha will improve body weight.

Carbohydrates should cover atleast 60% of the total calories.

Include pulses like green gram, soy protein and bengal gram daily for rapid weight gain.

Egg and fish should be in the daily regimen.

It's important to take red meat for atleast 3days a week.

Keep track of your weight every 3 days.

Drink water almost 3 liters a day.
