Suggest Treatment To Get Rid Of Under Eye Circles
Question: Hi,
I have very thin skin under my eyes with blood vessels in the area. For this reason my dermatologist has said that I'm ineligible for dermal filler procedures to hide the dark circles and fill the hollows under my eyes. With this in mind, would I be eligible for a fat transfer procedure to that same area?

Hello
Thanks for the query.
Your doctor is correct.
If skin is vert thin it will not support fillers and irregular bumps will appear.
If possible upload a photograph of the affected area. This will help me in giving a better way of management and suggestions regarding fat transfer. There is an option to upload photos on right side of query page.
Please utilize it.
Waiting for your response.

Hello
Thanks for the photographs.
Your dermatologist is correct.
Skin under your eyes appear very thin.
Instead of going for fillers you should go for skin lightening creams.
You can use kojic acid cream daily in night.
This will help in reducing the pigmentation.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.

Although it's not too visible in the pictures I do have quite extensive hollowing under my eyes. With that in mind, is there any dermatological/cosmetic procedure out there that you know of which could fill in those hollows taking into consideration my thin under-eye skin?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Brief Answer:
get fat transfer done
Detailed Answer:
Hello
If you really want a procedure to be done, autologous fat transfer is thebonly option.
Although it is bit risk involving as your skin is thin but it is safer than fillers.
You can meet a cosmetic surgeon expert in fat transfer and get it done.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.

Thanks for your response.
Speaking of the area around my eyes, would I be able to use a dermal filler in the area between my eyebrows and upper-eyelids (just above my upper-eyelids...called an "upper eyelid lift" I believe) or would my thin skin cause problems with that procedure too?
Thanks again.

Hi,
I've added two photos of the area above my eyes where I wish to get a dermal filler. Based on the appearance of them, would a fat transfer be the better option in this case once again or would I get by with using a dermal filler safely?
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
fat transfer will be better
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the photographs.
I can see there is a hollow above upper eye lids.
Dermal fillers will be best for you.
Fat will easily get set under skin. Fillers carry a risk of trickling down.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.

Hi again,
Just quickly going back to the dark circles under my eyes. Could those be treated with laser therapy or something of the like to simply "zap" the blood vessels and make them diminish greatly in appearance or would that not be done in my particular case?
Thanks again.

Hi,
Is there any skin lightening cream that doesn't cause further thinning of the skin? I'm concerned about the already thin skin under my eyes becoming even thinner with the use of most skin lightening creams I've researched including kojic acid. What would be your suggestion?
Thanks for all of your help.
