Brief Answer:
Please go for suggested investigations

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

You have answered in a nice way. Based on these details you seem to have telogen effluvium. However I would like to have the reports of the aforementioned tests. You can plan those tests through your local doctor and upload reports here. And also post the photos of scalp and forehead. So that I can help you nicely.

Waiting for the reports.

Brief Answer:
Telogen effluvium

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome back.

Thanks for posting reports and photos. I have gone through all reports and saw photos.

You seem to have DM,mild hypothyroidism and hyperlipidemias. All these condititions should be treated by physician. You immediately consult nearby physician and have treatment. After thorough examinations and repeat investigations, he might give treatment to control blood sugar, to improve thyroid functions and to reduce blood lipids level.

For your hair fall, I would say that you have telogen effluvium most probably due to systemic diseases and stress you have.

I suggest treatment in my patients having problem as you have in following manner..

1) treatment of systemic diseases by physician
2) cleansing the scalp with mild shampoo like herbal shampoo daily
3) mild steroid lotion like beclomethasone lotion application on scalp at night daily
4) almond oil may be used for oiling the hairs to improve structure of hair shaft,
5) to take biotin containing tab like tab biot forte 10 mg daily.
6) vitamin E cap 400 mg may be taken daily
7) to avoid stress and anxiety
8) to have nutritious food
9) good sleep may be taken

I think this would be helpful to you to improve the hair growth. You consult dermatologist for prescription of suggested drugs. And do not forget to consult physician for treatment of DM,hypothyroidism and dyslipidemia.

Wishing you healthy life.

Thanks.
