Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome again to the forum and thanks for posting the details.
As I said there are two important factors involved in the pigmentation in your case:
1. Genetical Melanosis: The pigmentation at the facial areas is genetically determined. To tell you simply, the darkness is due to the activity of melanocytes in the skin. These melanocytes are the cells which regularly produces color/pigment known as melanin in the skin. These are superficially present in the upper skin known as epidermis. This is a tendency in ourselves to get higher activity of these melanocytes at the facial area according to our genetic make up. It is seen on higher side in people of Asiatic origin than in white population.
2. Secondly these areas are further darkened by the process known as "Post inflammatory hyper-pigmentation" or PIH. The facial area is prone for sun damage and it causes over production of melanin in the skin. This pigmentation is known as "sun tanning". As facial area is quite sensitive so we can not apply any cream which is available over the counter as can cause burning and further aggravation of the condition.
Now regarding the part of treatment: For the betterment kindly follow the suggestions below:
1. Eat at least 3-4 different fruits saplings per day. Every fruit is good but you can make a combination of sour with sweet fruits such as oranges, papaya and other of seasonal fruits (a combination of vitamin A and C).
2. Pulses are good source of proteins. So everyday have a small bowel full of mixed pulses. Add green leafy vegetables additionally in the pulses which contains lot of iron and vitamins in it.
3. Sprouts are the best source of fibers, minerals especially iron, vitamins and proteins too. so add it at-least alternate day if you can not make in every-day's part of meal.
4. Over night soaked and peeled almonds will give you good vitamin E which is good for the skin texture.
5. Milk and milk products should be included in every-day's schedule.
6.Do light exercises, reduce your stress as all these have bit impact on skin.
If I were your treating dermatologist then would have prescribed a cream (under dermatological supervision) containing Kojic acid with arbutin and mulberry extract in it on one night and a cream containing Beta White with Tyrostat and Melanostaline on the other night. Additionally I again suggest you to have strict sun protection and regular sunscreen application.
I again reassure you that you do not require any laser procedures.
I hope these informations will help you. I will be glad to answer any further queries.
