I've gone through your query and understand your concern..

Yes being Short temper is definitely a quite bothersome feature, and you need to be really focussed to fight against it..

First of all, you need to find out what is causing the anger, think about it in yourself, and try to talk it over either with yourself or the person causing it .. Don't let yourself suffer thinking about it because those are the factors causes person's to remain dissatisfied inside and in turn showed up as anger outburst on something/some one else..

Try to remain calm and happy by indulging in to hobbies, activities that you like to do(eg. reading,painting,listening to music, watching movies etc.) so that the mind doesn't even get opportunity to think about all these negative things which are making you angry..

Stay positive, you can do it..

Medications are definitely there but only after other approaches remain unsuccessful..

But if you think despite doing all these, you're unable hold anger then I'd advice you to schedule an appointment with a Psychologist for a detailed session of discussion on these, as in long term you need to be monitored by the psychologist and regular therapy sessions as an active treatment approach for anger management..
