My normal fasting sugar level is 100~120 but for last two days it is 160. I am taking hytension medication also -I had angioplasty 3 year back . Sevikar 40/10, Concor 5mg, Plavix, Crestor 10mg .My BP remains 130/90

Dear friend, as you have already under went angioplasty, you can take insulin and adjust the dose based on the sugar levels . Please check your HbA1c, microalbuminuria , lipid profile, thyroid profile. Meet your physician with the report. BP is ok must be monitored regularly. You need to adopt lifestyle changes. Take more of protein, fiber rich food, green leafy vegetables and fruits. Millets, like ragi gives you lots of minerals and fibers. Do exercise, at least walk for a n hour a day. Avoid stress and practice meditation and pranayama . Thanks and do ask more .
