Question: I started to take lamotragine 10 days ago 25mg and I feel very tired, agitated, have a headache and can't sleep. How can I stop? M

You can stop cold turkey

Thanks for writing to us.

25 mg is almost starting dose of lamotirigine. If you are suffering from unwanted and intolerable side effects, you can stop cold turkey. No tapering is needed.

Inform your doctor also so doctor can later on give some other molecule for your problem for which lamotrigine was prescribed.
