Suggest Ways To Reduce Sagging Of Skin After Weight Loss
Question: I have a permanent crease on my stomach that wont go away. I used to be fat, but after losing 30 pounds I have this crease/wrinkle on my stomach which makes me look much worst. I still have some belly fat, but the skin where the crease is doesn't feel loose. I am afraid this is permanent. Should I try to lower my bodyfat that is t 17% approx or gain muscle? Or are there any procedure or cream for this problem?
Brief Answer:
no easy treatment, I'm afraid
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
unfortunately there is no easy treatment like application of a cream for example. Excess skin folds after loosing a significant amount of fat are common and they won't go away particularly if the amount of fat was large. Only a plastic surgeon may correct it but it requires surgery.
Kind Regards!

It doesnt extend to the sides. The creases are on the front only. Won't let me upload to the site. Hope this link is ok. The lines are barely visible but you can see them where the skin tone is different. The skin tone is different because I applied salycilic acid out of desperation.

Brief Answer:
no surgery for that!
Detailed Answer:
I've seen the pictures and although they are not great in quality (not focused, a little blurred) you don't seem like a candidate for plastic surgery. Actually most successful operations for excess skin produce worse results that your current appearance. Keeping your body weight stable within the normal range (body mass index less than 25Kgr/m2) or very close to it and exercising (particularly the abdominal and back muscles) is essential for achieving a good looking abdomen. The folds may never completely disappear but even if they won't, they can be disguised into a fit abdomen.
Kind Regards!
