I am female but am asking for my boyfriend who thinks he has phimosis because he has had it in the past. I have been reading too much on the internet and that's why I asked about his friction and whether it would cause phimosis or not. Of course, he is a male and does have foreskin problems.

I shall be happy if you provide few more details about your boyfriend
1) What is the age of your boyfriend ?
2) Is he diabetic?
3) Is he able to retract his foreskin completely over glans penis ?
4) Does he have pain and difficulty in penetrating vagina during intercourse?

Phimosis can not be cured by medicine the only treatment option is to undergo surgery of Circumcision .

Ask him to consult qualified General surgeon for clinical examination to confirm the diagnosis .He would be the best judge to decide regarding need for surgery .
