Question: My husband went in for a thoracic and cervical spine xray. The results indicated missing bone. What does this mean?

A missing vertebra is a congenital defect and is just a chance finding on an X-ray. It is not indicative of any pathology. He can lead a normal life without any problem. Please do not worry as this is not going to cause any symptoms.
