It is looking more like shingles.
I would like to know the following additional things to reach a closer diagnosis.
1. Lesions appeared first or you developed itch first?
2. Is it a single localised patch or there is a large area covered by the rash.
3 you had any stress in past one week, mental or physical stress.
Please answer the above so I can help you better.
Waiting for your response.

Hello.
Thanks for the follow up.
There are two conditions which present like this.
1. Shingles, which mainly present with pain is not localised to just a patch.
2. Allergic contact dermatitis, which is itchy and is localised.
The two can be differentiated either by spread or by tests.
Please apply calamine lotion. It helps in both conditions, also take anti histamine tablet like cetrizine. Keep a watch on lesions, whether they are spreading.
Thank you
