Took Benadryl For Itching And Chest Pressure. Any Advice?

Question: 9 year old female, complaining of XXXXXXX itch and slight chest pressure. Stated she feels like someone is pushing inward out (no pain) but irritated. No external marks, bumps, or sign of allergies. Given 2 teaspoon of Benedryl. No relief as of yet. No fever, but is stating she feels warm. Occurred after taking bath. Advice? Not seeing enough pain or heavy breathing to rush to ER.
Hi,
As her symptoms are vague and just starting to appear,
we have to watch her closely.
This may be the onset of some viral infection!
She may go in for fever soon.
Sometimes gatric discomfort can also cause such symptoms.
Benadryl may make her a bit drowsy! Paracetamol is better for pain!
Please check her temp and then even if afebrile take her to ER because of the chest compression symptom!( even though it may not be anything significant in a child)
Goodluck
