Took Pill After Unprotected Sex. Got Positive Pregnancy Test. How Accurate Is This Result?

Question: Hi my last period was from 10/02 - 15/02
I had unprotected sex twice since then and each time took 4 XXXXXXX pills an hour after having unprotected sex. The second time was on 9/03
It is now 20/03 and I haven't got my period and I took a pregnancy test today which said I was positive.
How accurate is the test result?
Please help, very worried! :(

Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
Home urine pregnancy tests are 97 % reliable.
Since your periods are overdue by 10 days and pregnancy test is positive, the pregnancy is almost confirmed. For further confirmation you can get a serum beta HCG evaluated and get an ultrasound scan of the lower abdomen done.
You can get both these investigations done under the guidance of your gynecologist.
False positive test is unlikely in your case.
Hope this answers your query. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Please accept my answer in case you do not have further queries.
Wishing you good health...
