Trying For Baby. Would Love To Have Twins, Take Clomid. What Are The Chances?

Thank you for choosing XXXXXXX
Usually clomid(clomephine citrate) is not given to have twins, its a ovulation induction drug and chances of multiple preganancy(more than 1 fetus) is commonly seen in patients with Polycystic ovarian disease(PCOD) who receive it for ovulation purpose.
Though the chances of multiple pregnancies are between 5-8%. I am sorry to say, though I respect your wish, that you should try for a singleton pregnancy. Because, twins or higher order pregnancies have got lot of other complications like ABORTIONS, PREGNANCY INDUCED HYPERTENSION, MORE CHANCES OF DIABETES, CONGENITAL ANOMALIES, INTRAUTERINE DEATH, AND LOTS MORE.
Hence, I suggest you not to take this medication to have twins. I don't think any doctor will prescribe this drug to have twins.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. In case of any doubt, I will be available for follow-ups. If you like my answers kindly rate it, and write a review as well. Please do not forget to accept it.
